Seward Alaska in the summer is simply one of the best small towns to visit! While we have known this for decades, recently it has become news!
Smithsonian Magazine, among other rated Seward as one of the best small towns to visit.
I have lived here for 23 years and my wife was born and raised in Seward and there is no place we would rather live. From the solitude of the temperate rain forests to the austere beauty of the impossibly steep cliffs and glaciers dropping right into the ocean, Seward is located in the perfect spot to experience Alaska. The waters of Western Prince William Sound and the Kenai Fjords National Park are remote and teaming with life from Plankton and krill to schools of bait fish, and game fish and on up to pods of Orcas and Humpback Whales.
The Seward Chamber of Commerce is the central location to get information about lodging, dining and activities. We hope you enjoy staying in Seward as much as we do.
