Captain Andy has spent over 35 years working on and teaching others about the ocean. He has been licensed as Master of Vessels to 200 Gross Tons, on Any Ocean, for more than 30 years. In the off-season Andy has been fisheries management policy advisor for 20 years and has served full term of 9 years as the sole Alaskan sportfishing representative on the North Pacific Fishery Management Council. This regional management council is responsible for sustainably managing Alaska’s valuable federal fisheries. Andy spends his spare time chasing warm water game fish like Tuna and Marlin with his wife of 27 years on their smaller boat in Kona, Hawaii.
